A woman called the police and said that the same man who had entered a sauna at Skymningens bathing place during the night was back and had now assaulted the woman. The reason for the assault is unclear to the press spokesperson.

He disappeared from the scene and the police went there and filed a report on assault and to search for the man.

A little later in the morning, the man, who is in his 30s, was apprehended as suspected of assault. The apprehension took place in central Kristinehamn.

The police will hold an interrogation with the man and thereafter a prosecutor will make a decision on whether he should be continued to be apprehended or not.

There are no reports that the assaulted woman had to visit the emergency medical care due to this incident.
