
It has been a normal Friday night in the region without any major events. Below follows a selection of cases that we have handled.
Drunk Driving, Falun 10:26 PM.
A driver, a woman in her 20s, is suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics after being stopped in Hosjö. The woman was taken with the patrol for a blood test and the result of the test will show if she has committed a crime.
Narcotics Offense, Avesta 12:27 AM.
A young man is suspected of using narcotics and was taken with a patrol for a blood test after being taken into custody by a security guard at a restaurant in the center. The result of the test will show if he has committed a crime.
Drunk Driving, Ludvika 12:54 AM.
A driver, a woman in her 20s, is suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics after being stopped in the center. The woman was taken with the patrol for a blood test and the result of the test will show if she has committed a crime.
Traffic Accident, Leksand 1:18 AM
A driver, a woman in her older teenage years, swerved for an elk and drove off the road along Rv70 near Tällbergsporten. The police suspect no crime and it is unclear if the woman needed emergency care or not.
Vandalism, Borlänge 1:57 AM.
One or more unknown persons have smashed a glass door to a multi-family house in Stora Tuna. The police have been on the scene without finding any suspect and are writing a report of vandalism.
Aside from this, we have among other things checked 10 people or vehicles, taken six people into custody according to the Law on the Temporary Confiscation of Intoxicated Persons, handled two wildlife accidents and a case of mental illness.
