Police receive reports of a car being stolen in Vasastaden and when police subsequently get a glimpse of the car and try to get the driver to stop, the car speeds away. A shorter pursuit begins on Östermalm and at Roslagstull, the car collides with a taxi.

Emergency medical personnel are called to the scene to check on people and at present, there are no reports of anyone needing to be taken to the hospital.

A man in his 65-year-old is apprehended.
