A fire started for unclear reasons in a closet in an apartment on Västermalm in Västerås. Rescue services and police rushed to the scene, where there was some smoke development. The fire was quickly extinguished and there are no reports of personal injuries.

There is initially no suspicion of a crime in connection with the fire.
