Staff at a grocery store in Västerås contacted the police when they suspected that a man had stolen meat from the store. The police rushed to the scene and apprehended a man who was running from the store with meat.

The man was taken into custody in accordance with the law on taking into custody intoxicated persons, and was suspected of theft. In connection with him running away from the scene, he fell and was therefore taken to the hospital.
