Just before 09:00, emergency services were alerted about a fire in a multi-family house in central Strängnäs.

According to early reports, it appears to be a fire in an apartment where it is said to be smoke-filled in the adjacent stairwell.

Police are on the scene at the relevant address. A person has been found injured at the fire scene. This person will be taken care of by an ambulance. The injury situation is currently unclear.
