Harpsund
Police will conduct a planned operation in the area around the Prime Minister's recreational residence Harpsund in Flens municipality, November 27-28, 2024. We have a well-proportioned police resource to ensure public order and security in connection with a state visit. Police are working together with the Security Police and the Government Offices.
The area around Harpsund will be cordoned off in accordance with Section 23 of the Police Act. Traffic in the area around Harpsund will be affected and accessibility is limited. The public is advised to take alternative routes if possible. Traffic flow may be affected for shorter periods in other nearby municipalities in connection with transports.
As part of the work, police will aerially monitor the area around Harpsund with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), also known as drones. The purpose is to prevent, prevent, and detect crimes, as well as facilitate and enable investigation and evidence of committed crimes. The decision on aerial monitoring with UAS applies from 06.00 on November 27 to 23.00 on November 28. The area in question is a nautical mile, i.e. approximately 1850 meters, in all directions from Harpsund.
