A number of police patrols are ordered to an address outside Sandarne in Söderhamn municipality due to a man allegedly attempting to harm another person with a bludgeon.

The suspected perpetrator could be apprehended shortly after the police arrived at the scene.

The person the man attempted to harm has not sustained any physical injuries in connection with the incident.

The police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder and the location where this is alleged to have occurred has been cordoned off pending a technical examination.
