Police regional command center has handled 35 cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

22:35 Police were called to a residence in central Linköping due to screams indoors at an address. When police arrived at the scene, a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of assault. The victim, a woman in her 40s, did not require medical care.

03:01 Police were called to Kungsgatan in Norrköping due to an activated burglary alarm at a restaurant. Via camera, a person was also seen inside the building. When police arrived at the scene, it turned out that the perpetrator had entered through a window. The stolen goods are believed to have consisted of an iPad. A report of theft through burglary will be written and there is currently no suspect or arrested person.

In addition, the police have had cases of public intoxication, traffic offenses, and various checks on their own initiative or after receiving reports from the public that have not led to anything serious.
