Police regional command center has handled 25 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

00:15 The police were alerted to the Öster area in Eskilstuna due to screams from a residence. When the police arrived at the scene, a woman in her 60s was arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to the matter. The victim, a man in his 75s, did not require medical attention.

05:29 During a routine vehicle and driver check on county road 800 outside Hamnen, Nyköping, suspicion of drunk driving arose against the driver. The man in his 55s was taken in by the police for further blood testing and questioning.

In addition to this, the police have had cases involving wildlife accidents, traffic controls, and various other checks on their own initiative or following public reports that have not led to anything serious.

No serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
