Police were alerted that a man had assaulted a woman in a residence in the Älvsborg police district. The man and woman are in a relationship. At the scene, police patrol units found a woman with visible physical injuries. However, she is not in need of acute care. The perpetrator, who is still at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of assault. The man is agitated and is also suspected of violent resistance during the arrest.

A police patrol stopped a vehicle for control on regional road 168, near Komarken. Both the driver and passenger, two men in their mid-20s, were taken for a body search. The driver was subsequently suspected of gross illegal driving, driving under the influence, and drug offenses – possession and personal use. The passenger is suspected of drug offenses, personal use.

Police were alerted about an ongoing assault on a bus traveling northbound on E6. The bus stopped along the road and police boarded. There are reportedly several witnesses to the incident, and a man in his 50s was suspected of assault. The victim, however, does not wish to cooperate. A report was filed and the suspected man was taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons.

Police received several calls about a man walking along E6 between traffic points 99 and 100, heading southbound. A motorist reported that the man was walking in the middle of the road and that an accident had almost occurred. Police and an ambulance were sent to the scene. The man, aged 65, was found. He is reportedly not physically injured, but was taken with the ambulance for further control.
