November 21, 16.12, Traffic accident, Örebro

A collision has occurred between two vehicles on the current road section. It is believed to be a rear-end collision.

Three people are involved. They are awake and able to speak, one is complaining of pain in the upper body. No one is seriously injured. Ambulance personnel are checking on the people.

The road is closed in the southbound direction during the rescue work, but will soon be opened up for other traffic.

Update: Wreckers will be ordered to the scene so the police will remain on the scene. There are long queues. At 16.43 a traffic lane was opened up (right) for other traffic.

Update 16.47: Wreckers are on the scene. Traffic is rolling along fairly well.

New incident 16.40: Another traffic accident has occurred on E18/E20. This time near the Southern entrance, Bista, northbound direction. A vehicle has collided with the other from behind, all involved have gotten out of their vehicles.

The police are urging drivers to keep a proper distance from the vehicle in front and to adjust their speed to the prevailing road conditions due to the accidents and queues on the road section.
