Police regional command center handled a number of cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00 last night.
Police have handled cases involving wildlife accidents and matters related to mental health, as well as conducted routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public alarm.

Knife law violations, Norrköping
At 22:30, police receive a call about a man seen with a large knife-like object in the Hageby area of Norrköping. Several patrols were dispatched and were able to apprehend the man. The man was handcuffed and taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons. The 25-year-old man is suspected of violating the knife law.

Alarm about explosions, Norrköping
At 23:20 on Wednesday evening, police are alerted to central Norrköping. Several callers have reported hearing explosions. Several patrols search the area, and soon determine that some kind of fireworks have been set off on a street.
