Here follows a selection of events from last night:
22:01 Robbery in a store, Östersund:
Police were called to a grocery store on Frösön where staff had pressed an alarm button. A man is alleged to have been violent towards a store employee when confronted about a theft.
The man, who is in his 35-year-old, has left the store, but is found by police. He is apprehended and later held by a prosecutor.
The incident is being investigated as a robbery.
23:19 Attempted theft, Östersund:
Police were called to Frösön where two people were seen trying to break into trucks, but ran away when spotted.
One man is found and apprehended, after police searched the area with a dog. An interview is held. A report of attempted theft is filed.
The man, who is 25 years old, is later released on bail.
05:15 Traffic control, Östersund:
Fourteen drivers on E14, Brunflo, are checked and found to be sober.
06:07 Wildlife accident, Åre:
Accident involving a car and a fawn on E14, Mattmar. No personal injuries reported.

The police have also conducted checks on people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of crime.
