23.20, Aneby: SOS alarms about a traffic accident on county road 132/Skärsjövägen in Aneby. A car with five people has skidded and driven into a pole. Two people are taken away by ambulance, but no one is believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries. No crime is suspected.

05.46, Värnamo: SOS alarms about a single-vehicle accident on national road 26, north of Bor, in Värnamo. A car with three people has slid into a ditch. No one is seriously injured and the driver is arranging for a tow truck himself. No crime is suspected.

05.49, Torsvik: Police are alerted about a car that is standing in a ditch at Barnarpsvägen in Torsvik. It appears that the car has slid into the ditch in a curve. A patrol is driving there for a check and finds that the car has summer tires. The driver is not injured, and has himself ordered a tow truck. The driver is fined 2,000 kronor for using a vehicle not equipped with winter tires when winter road conditions prevail.
