The police are searching for 60-year-old Cecylia, a resident of Skara, who has been missing since the end of August 2025. The last secure contact was on August 24.

Cecylia is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and heavily built. She has dark grey hair that reaches her shoulders. She moves slowly and has a forward-leaning gait. She may appear older than her age. 

Clothing unknown. 

If anyone has seen Cecylia or has information that can lead to Cecylia being found, contact the police via 114 14.

On the day of December 4, 2025, a body of a deceased person was found in a forest area on the outskirts of Skara. The body was found by a police criminal search dog. The patrol was in the area to search for the previously reported missing 60-year-old woman from Skara. The person has not been identified, but it is likely that it is the missing woman who was found, based on findings and circumstances at the scene.

Relatives of the woman have been informed about the find. An investigation into a crime has been initiated, but there is nothing today that points to a crime. An investigation into a crime is initiated primarily in order to be able to perform certain investigative measures.

The investigation will continue with, among other things, a forensic medical examination
