The police were alerted to Söderlidsgatan in Trandared on Sunday at 23:24 due to an alarm about an explosion. On the scene it was established that an object had detonated near a parked car. The area was cordoned off during the work and residents were relocated. VMA went out in the surrounding area telling residents to stay indoors. There are only reports of material damage in connection with the incident.

The national bomb squad has been on the scene. The cordon was lifted shortly after 05:00 and all patrols left the address. A report was filed for gross public endangerment and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.

The case has been under investigation and on Wednesday two minors were taken in for questioning suspected of gross public endangerment and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
