18:10 Police were alerted to a multi-family house in Värnamo due to callers hearing a loud bang. It is also reported to be smoke-filled in the stairwell.

18:17 Police patrol on the scene.

18:21 There are no reports of personal injuries. However, there are material damages to a window and a door. An investigation has been initiated regarding gross negligence and a crime against the law on hazardous and explosive goods.

18:33 The crime scene has been cordoned off and residents of the house have been evacuated.
