A vigilant public contacted the police on Saturday morning after seeing a 6-wheeler parked, in a remarkable way, on a grassy plot in central Sandviken.

The person who alerted the police remembered an incident that he had read about in the newspaper, where a similar vehicle type was involved in a theft and thought the situation seemed suspicious.

Police arrive at the scene to check the vehicle and determine that it is the same 6-wheeler that was involved in an earlier theft outside Torsåker.

The owner is contacted by the patrol.
