A general public suspects a ongoing theft of copper at an address in Karlsdal, Västerås. According to the complainant, a van arrived at the location and a number of people rummaged through a container at the location.

A police patrol is ordered to the location to check the men. It turns out not to be a theft, but the men have been given permission to collect scrap from the container.

However, it appears that the car, which the men arrived at the location with, is registered and has a driving ban. The driver, a man in his 40s, also appears to lack a driver's license and the patrol suspects that he is under the influence of some form of narcotics.

The police write a report on gross illegal driving and drug driving with the man in his 40s as the suspected person. The man is also taken in for a body search.
