Police were called to a residence in Örebro where it was reported that a man was behaving aggressively towards a woman and that there were children in the residence.

When the police arrived, the investigation led to a 40-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of assault on a close relative. The children present in the apartment witnessed the assault, which means that the man is also suspected of child peace disturbance.

The woman was not seriously injured and did not require immediate medical attention.

After questioning, the prosecutor will decide whether the man should be detained or released during the ongoing investigation.
