Several wildlife accidents in the morning.
Under Wednesday morning, the police were alerted to a number of wild animal accidents in Uppsala County. Between 06:00 and 07:30, seven wild animal accidents were reported in the county. Five deer had been hit, and two wild boars. There are no reports of personal injuries, but some of the accidents had damaged vehicles. Search parties have been contacted in each of the cases.
All accidents involving elk, deer, roe deer, wild boar, bear, wolf, lynx, grouse, owl, and mouflon sheep should be reported immediately to the police via 112. You should also mark the location where the accident occurred. Anyone who fails to report a wild animal accident can be fined.
