November 11, 15.23, Traffic accident, Västerås

Police are being dispatched to LV693 (Stockholmsvägen) at the level of Irsta due to a traffic accident between two passenger cars. No reports of personal injuries.

Initially, it is believed that the accident occurred when one of the drivers yielded for a wild animal, whereupon the following vehicle did not have time to notice this and then drove into the vehicle in front.

Police will investigate the accident and have therefore filed a report regarding failure to observe a distance to the preceding vehicle.
