The patrol has attempted to stop a car when the driver tries to drive away from the patrol. The driver drives into another car and a lamppost. The driver then tries to run away from the scene. The journey is said to have been at a low speed.

The patrol manages to catch up to the driver, a man in his 40s, who is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs, minor narcotics offense, and reckless driving.
