Vid lunchtid på Saturday an encounter is made with a deceased person in a woodland area in an industrial area in Vilsta, Eskilstuna. The police set up a cordon and conduct a technical investigation. The person has been lying dead on the scene for a longer period. No findings are made at the scene that suggest a crime has been committed, but the classification is set to murder so that appropriate investigative measures can be taken. A forensic physician will examine the body to potentially establish a cause of death. Identity documents were found in the clothing and the deceased is a man in his 60s who has been missing since the spring. Relatives have been notified.
