Police receive a call from a woman in northwest Stockholm who says she has been beaten by a man she has a relationship with and that he also threatens her. The woman reports that it is not the first time she has been beaten. There are no reports that the woman has needed hospital care. 

Police go to the residence and the man is arrested on suspicion of assault and harassment. He is also suspected of child welfare offenses because children may have witnessed the assault. A report is filed. 

The man is detained after a decision by the prosecutor.
