A man taken to hospital after suspected severe assault
Just after 23:00, police were alerted to a fight that allegedly took place at a party on an address in Vetlanda municipality. According to reports, a man is on the scene who has been assaulted and injured in connection with the fight. The man has since been taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown. Police have since filed a report on severe assault. Several interviews will be conducted throughout the day to gain more clarity on exactly what happened during the fight and who may be responsible for the crime.

Police have also handled many cases related to traffic disruptions and conducted various routine checks on their own initiative or following public alerts.
