Since midnight, two people in Östersund have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. The police have also removed a man from the center who is said to have been assaulted by an unknown perpetrator.

The police have carried out further checks of people and vehicles that have not led to any suspicion of a crime.

The police are contacted regarding an assault at a restaurant in the center. Two young men are said to have been exposed. The suspect, a man in his 20s, is taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. A report is filed.

Other: A wildlife accident without personal injury has been reported to the police. It occurred on E45 Häggenås, Östersunds municipality.
