Police alarm the public regarding a suspected ongoing burglary in Harmånger, Nordanstigs municipality.

A number of individuals are believed to have been seen entering a garage and seizing at least one moped, before leaving the address.

A patrol is ordered and thanks to the caller's observations, manages to locate a suspect who is arrested and is suspected of theft through burglary. The arrested person is a 50-year-old man.

The location where the theft is believed to have occurred will be cordoned off pending technical investigation.

The moped has been returned to its rightful owner.
