Reports came in about a man being found injured outside an address in Storvik and the police were dispatched. The man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital but his life could not be saved.

An investigation into a murder was initiated in order to rule out a crime and an area was cordoned off for technical examination. There is no suspect in the case.

Relatives have been informed of the death.

The police are interested in observations that the general public may have made before, during and after the event. Anyone who has seen or heard something is urged to contact the police on 11414, or 112 if the situation is urgent.
