Immediately after 07:00, police are alerted to a residential area south of Jönköping city after receiving information about an assault. According to reports, a man allegedly assaulted a woman in the area. Upon arrival, the police patrol quickly finds the injured woman, who is awake and able to speak. She is later taken to the hospital. Shortly after, a man in his 50s is arrested on suspicion of assault of a normal degree. The police will now conduct various interrogations in the matter.
