A 25-year-old woman has been taken to hospital by ambulance after an accident on LV616 south of Lagan. The woman is said to have swerved to avoid a moose, whereupon the car she was driving overturned and landed in a ditch.

The police have documented the accident site and the car has been recovered.

A report on a traffic accident without suspicion of crime is being filed.

The police have no information on the condition of the injured person.
