Police and ambulance were alerted to Gullmarsplan because a man was injured by a sharp object.

The 60-year-old man does not have life-threatening injuries but needs to be taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The police have cordoned off an area for technical investigation. The police are working to get a picture of what happened and when the incident occurred.

A preliminary investigation into aggravated assault has been launched.
