The perpetrators were observed at a parking lot near the Älvsjö exhibition. They are said to have had some kind of transmitter that sends out signals so that the car cannot be locked. Then they went up to the cars and stole goods from them.

The police were ordered to the scene and thanks to witnesses, two perpetrators were arrested. At least one jamming transmitter has been seized.
