On Thursday, May 1, just before 7:00 PM, a deceased person was found in a lake northwest of Storuman.

The individual in question is a man in his 70s. Next of kin have been notified.

Police suspect no crime in connection with the incident. At present, everything suggests that the man was out fishing on the lake and in the process went through the ice.
