The theft occurred on Styrmansgatan and the perpetrator cycled away from the scene towards Central Station.

A police patrol checked up on a person who was recognized from earlier. The man could not be linked to the crime but is suspected of theft as it was suspected that he was riding a stolen bicycle.

The bicycle was taken into custody for further investigation and the man was released after questioning.

The perpetrator who stole the bag from the car is unknown and has not been found.
