Security guards and police were quickly on the scene and searched the premises. No perpetrator was still on the scene. There were clear signs of forced entry on several doors inside the school. It is unknown which route the perpetrator took to enter the school.

At the time of reporting, it was unclear what, if anything, had been taken from the premises.

Some parts of the school are cordoned off pending a technical investigation during the morning.
