Here follows a summary of last night's events.

Police regional command center has handled around 100 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Burglary at a company in Eskilstuna
01:17, police were alerted to a company that is believed to have been attempted to be burgled. No one is thought to have entered, but there are signs of forced entry on an outer door. The police have been on the scene and have photographed damage to the property. A report has been filed regarding an attempted theft through burglary. There are no suspected individuals in the case. 

Serious accident in Nyköping
Shortly after 05:00, police were alerted to an accident in the Bergshammar area outside Nyköping. A driver is said to have driven into a tree. The driver was also taken to hospital by ambulance. The injury situation is assessed as very serious. 

Around 05:30, police stopped two cars in Tystberga to perform a vehicle control. During the control, suspicions arose that the cars were stolen. Two men, aged 40 and 65, were arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle parts. 

In addition to this, the police have, among other things, carried out routine checks on their own initiative or following reports from the public.
