The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of cases related to Södermanland County.

22:48 – Theft, Nyköping
A caller reports after having had his e-bike stolen at the resecentrum. It can later be tracked where it went with the help of an app in the mobile phone. This leads the police to an apartment, where the e-bike is also found together with two people. One of these, a man, is suspected of theft and normal-grade narcotics offense. 

02:41 – Boat theft, Katrineholm
A police patrol meets two cars in convoy, one of which has a trailer with a boat on it. The patrol turns around to perform a check on the vehicles – then the car with the boat behind is dumped without a driver. The police stop the other car, where there are three people. They claim not to have anything to do with the other vehicle. They are all arrested around 03:30 suspected of theft. The police have worked with, among other things, dog handlers to track down additional individuals. At the same time, a wrecker has been ordered to the vehicle without a driver and the associated boat trailer, which is then seized. 

In addition, the police have, among other things, made other routine checks on their own initiative or after a call from the public.
