An elderly woman calls 112 after being called by a person she suspects is a scammer. The woman had received a call from a person claiming to be from the police with information that a police officer would come and collect valuable items at her home.

A police patrol went to the address and remained hidden nearby. After a while, a man came to the woman's residence and the man could be arrested on the spot.

Police are now investigating whether the man may have connections to several other scams against the elderly that occurred during the day.
