Police have conducted several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.

21:17 Fire, Vännäs
A report of a fire in a villa outside Vännäsby is received. There are no reports of personal injuries. The police are heading to the scene and a report of a fire without suspicion of crime will be filed.

22:05 Drunk driving, Nordmaling
Police stop and check a vehicle on E4 near Lögdeå. Suspicion arises that the driver, a man in his 30s, is impaired by drugs. He is taken in for drug testing and questioning. Suspected drugs are also found in his possession. A report is filed regarding suspected drunk driving, minor drug offense, and possession. The driver's license is seized. At 01:00, the same vehicle with the same driver is stopped in Teg, Umeå. Questioning is held and a report is filed regarding unauthorized driving. The driver is removed from the scene with the support of Police Act 13 § to prevent further traffic offenses.

06:04 Traffic control, Skellefteå
At a control in Skellefteå city center, two fines are issued due to speeding offenses. The highest recorded speed was 53 kilometers per hour on a 40-kilometer stretch.

A wildlife accident in Lycksele municipality has been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.
