An older man in Köping was contacted by a person in the evening who asked him to transfer his pension by swishing money to another person. A report of fraud has been filed. The man, who is in his 70s, was scammed for approximately 15,000 kronor.

There are many fraud cases happening right now. They can occur via phone or for example via SMS where the fraudster encourages you to call a number. The police are receiving reports that fraudsters claim you have ordered goods, taken out a loan, or even claim to help you and call from authorities such as the police.
