Police patrol sees a person's car with a trailer attached that has been reported stolen. The patrol tries to stop the car, but the driver chooses to try to drive away from the patrol. The pursuit goes through Östra Ljungby and up to E4, where the driver stops the car at Tranarpsbron and runs away from the scene. Several police patrols join and after a shorter search with a dog, a man is arrested.

The case is classified as theft and gross carelessness in traffic. Additional criminal classifications may be added.

Traffic on E4 at Tranarpsbron is affected until the car and trailer are towed away.
