Police alerted about a snowmobile accident north of the border, Kiruna municipality. One person is believed to be affected, the extent of the injuries is unclear.

The plan is for an ambulance helicopter to fly to the scene. The police officer on duty has decided to initiate a mountain rescue operation in accordance with the Act on Protection against Accidents. Mountain rescuers are being called out in the event that weather conditions change and the helicopter cannot reach the scene.
