Police receive a large number of calls from the public regarding loud explosions in the Boländerna area of Uppsala.

A large number of resources are dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, a seriously injured person is found. The person is loaded into an ambulance. The police are unable to provide any further information on the injured person's condition at this time.

The police have cordoned off a larger area and a number of investigative measures are underway at the scene.
