00:32 Gross Assault, Luleå:
Police patrol on Robertsviksgatan in Innerstaden notices a injured young man lying on the ground. An ambulance is called and the man is taken to medical care.

Police suspect that the man has been assaulted and are investigating the incident as gross assault. There is no suspect.

01:07 Wildlife Accident, Luleå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a truck and an elk on E4 between Råneå and Strömsund. No personal injuries are reported. The elk died in connection with the accident and a tracker is called out to take care of it.

01:21 Violence against an Officer, Luleå:
Police patrol is ordered to a fast-food restaurant in Luleå where a man who was refused entry is alleged to have hit a security guard. The patrol is conducting an interview and preparing a report on violence against an officer. No one is detained in the matter.

02:18 Traffic Accident, Piteå:
Alarm about a traffic accident on county road 574, Rosvik. A car is alleged to have driven off the road. Police patrol is ordered to the scene. The driver is taken to medical care by ambulance. Police will investigate the accident.

06:24 Drunk Driving, Luleå:
Police are contacted about a car being driven recklessly on E4 south of Luleå. When patrol cars try to stop the car, the driver chooses to flee the scene. After a short pursuit, the car is stopped.

The driver, a man in his 20s, blows positive on the police's breathalyser and is taken in for further testing. The man does not have a valid driver's license.

The incident is being investigated as gross drunk driving, gross reckless driving, and failure to stop for a police officer.

Other:
Police have handled a case overnight where a woman in a residence in Luleå is suspected of assaulting a man she has a relationship with. There are no reports that the man needed to be taken to medical care. The woman, also in her 20s, is arrested and after an interview, the prosecutor has decided to detain her. A report on assault has been filed.

Five people have been taken into custody for intoxication.

Police have also conducted checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
