March 8 11.19, Robbery, Upplands Väsby

The alarm sounded at 11.19. There were reports of two masked men in a gold shop in Upplands Väsby. According to witnesses, they allegedly displayed objects similar to weapons. The two perpetrators are said to have left the scene.

Several police resources are on site to improve the situation. There are currently no reports of personal injuries.

Update at 11.50
A witness claims to have heard explosions/shots in connection with the robbery. However, there is currently nothing to suggest that shots were fired by the perpetrators in connection with the robbery. Instead, the perpetrators have smashed a glass display case. 

The police operation continues. An investigation into aggravated robbery and aggravated weapons crime has been initiated.
