A man in his 50s is suspected of kicking a police officer in connection with an intervention at Stortorget. The man was taken in for a body search as he showed clear signs of being under the influence of narcotics. After a blood test, he was taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Provisional Custody of Intoxicated Persons.

Fire, Karlskoga at 22.43

There has been a fire in an industrial building in Löten. No one has been injured, but it is currently unclear how the fire started and an investigation into arson has been launched. The site will be cordoned off when the rescue service has completed its work on the site. There is no suspect.

Assault, Hallsberg at 00.58

A man in his 25s is suspected of assaulting a woman, with whom he has a relationship, outdoors in Stocksätter. There is no information that the woman, who is in her 20s, suffered any injuries that required medical attention in connection with the assault. The man was arrested and a prosecutor will decide whether he should remain in custody or not.
