The police have received an alarm about an avalanche in Åre. It is supposed to have occurred between Anjeskutan and Akkentjakke.

The police officer on duty in the police region North has made a decision to initiate a mountain rescue operation in accordance with the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. Various resources are being gathered and will head to the location to ensure that no person has been affected.
