Police have handled a few dozen incidents in Jönköping County between 22:00 and 07:00. No serious violent crimes or major incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

Police are conducting a vehicle check in Mariebo, Jönköping. The driver, a man in his early twenties, shows signs of being impaired by something and is taken in for a blood test. He also lacks a driver's license and has drugs on him and is therefore suspected of the above offenses.

00:55 Burglary, Eksjö.

An alarm is received about a burglary in progress at a restaurant in Eksjö. There are surveillance cameras in the premises and a man can be seen in real-time smashing a window and taking spirits bottles from the bar, and then leaving the premises. The police can shortly afterwards apprehend a man nearby who has spirits bottles on him. The man, who is in his fifties, is detained and later arrested on suspicion of burglary.

01:56 Vandalism by fire, Nässjö.

An alarm is received about a car on fire on a parking lot on Sturegatan in Nässjö. The car is completely burned out when the fire department arrives at the scene, and the fire has also spread to an adjacent car. The fire is extinguished and since there is reason to suspect that the fire was set, a report of vandalism by fire is written. There is no suspected perpetrator.
